We should go for it if we have at least 9 points lead..  avoid the "Joe Pisarcik's fumble"

You had to bring up the Miracle at the Meadowlands, didn't you.  Opens up wounds from many, many years ago.  It was after that botched handoff of to Larry Csonka that brought on the advent of the "Victory formation", or whatever it is called now, where the QB just takes a need knee and you keep a running back way back - just in case.  I can still see Herm Edwards (almost positive) scooping up the fumble and crushing my heart as he ran into the endzone.

I was still with my ex so that had to be 28 - 30 years ago.  Man I'm gettin' old.

easy - he just gets class confused with balls.  You have balls when you have class but when you have no class you have to show your balls.

it's the classy thing, and i wouldn't expect any less from Leavitt.

sometimes i think he takes his foot off the gas too early when we have a lead.

as far as this game... after the 4th down turnover, we just needed to GTFO of there with the W, and the quickest, most secure way to do that was take a knee.

classy is for ballet

not prime time fooball

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
