There has been a lot of chatter on the board about people wanting various offensive coordinators. So I decided to start a thread to capture who people think would be the best offensive coordinator for USF and why.

Herb Hand - Co-OC for Tulsa

Even though he is former WVU coach I think he would be a good fit for USF to help run the spread option offense.

Stan Parrish - Ball State

Has coached a lot of good quarterbacks in his day in a pro-style offense. (Brad Johsnson, Brian Griese and Tom Brady)

"Parrish has 10 years of head coaching experience in the collegiate ranks and owns a 57-41-3 overall record."

- not bad

Can you imagine Wally Burnham and Stan Parrish on the same team as DC and OC respectfully? Lots of experience!

What about Dana Holgorsen from Houston or Gus Malzahn from Tulsa?  Holgorsen was the OC under Leach at Texas Tech and has Houston with the #3 offense in the country. Tulsa has the #1 total offense, #1 scoring offense, #5 passing offense, and the #7 running offense.
