if we play the rest of the games like we did today, we won't win the BE, if we play the rest of the games like we did against N.C. State we will win the BE, just win out and hope for a Pitt lost or two along the way.

We can still win the Big East. We have to hope someone can knock off Pitt and UConn.  But we are good for one more loss.  Losing 2 games in the season is really good. Perfection is hard to achieve.

NONE.

If you can't beat Pitt at home, you do not stand a chance.  Bowling Green ring a bell?

Cincy will beat us.

Probably UConn as well.

Louisville will TORCH the defense, UCONN will pound it up the middle. Id say another 4-3, maybe 5-2 if we right the ship so to speak.

honestly, i really dont think it was due to a lack of effort.  i believe we lost do to a design flaw in our defense.  our D is fast and undersized and cannot handle big running games up the middle.  we need to get BIG AND FAST players, especially in the trenches.

That's not really a design flaw.  The reality is that we haven't been able to recruit the cream of the crop athletes.  We are getting better, but we can't get the athletes that are big and fast.  We have to get one or the other, and design a defense around that.  We've chosen fast athletes that don't have bulk, and have been pretty successful with that.  As our recruits continue to get better, we'll have guys that are big and fast.  Then we'll be able to handle either.

I am so tired of hearing about the "over pursuit of our defense."  You know what's amazing... the best defenses in the country pursue for 60 minutes and can shut down a crappy offense like that of Pitt's.   Seriously, every USF die hard knew what Pitt was going to do on offense after the first quarter was over.  Come on... screen passes, shuffle passes, and runs up the gut beat us tonight.  By the way - nice kick off Alvarado!!!
