Delbert had not one but two potentially point-saving plays last night.

One punt that was high that he jumped, one-handed, and got off for a great punt.

Another punt that was past him that he ran down and rugby-punted for a 32 yard punt instead of a loss.

3 punts on the night, one inside the 20.  Plus he was one of the first guys out there encouraging Bonani after his miss.

Delbert has really, REALLY come on since he's been allowed to focus on just one thing.  And, considering the weather, he didn't do too bad on kickoffs last night either!

Delbert has always been a good punter.  Glad he's getting the chance to concentrate on that and get better.

That rugby punt was a game saver...  if NC State recovered that, they get some momentum and the game could be closer.

You guys said it all. Delbert was always our punter first and was "forced" into having to kick field goals. I too am glad that he is able to get back to what he is best at.

I am surprised he was kicking off though ... why was he doing that?
