  1. Q looks frustrated by his play and play calling and WRs dropping A LOT of catchable balls....we will ride or die with Q
  2. What I'm saying is...RELAX. Wisconsin struggled with Utah St, USC is losing to Western Michigan and Ohio St struggled with IU. Now, all better teams than we've played, but often almost losing (but not) helps forge a team under its new philosophy or we fall apart and Seniors wish Willie stayed....we will find out in the next two weeks
  3. 'Member that one time we had a new coach and lost to a 1-AA team? 'Member how everyone thought Willie was a mistake and his offense was garbage? Let's breathe and pray that this has all been a test to prepare for Conference Games and Lovie coming to RayJay with a B10 team. I will panic if we look like this again in 1st half against UCONN. in the words of Frankie....Relax don't do it
  4. Sure felt that after announcing CCS would be in AD Box, seeing him on field sure felt like Part 1 of staff interviews. After 2nd half conservatron, sure seemed like Shawn King maybe only one back. But woul love to keep TJ
  5. Hopefully, he builds a winner and doesn't bolt to SEC
  6. Great hometown slant without being a full homer...definition of a great beat writer
  7. Please tell me how Davis left Miami in shambles. I'm interested in hearing how building a championship team destroyed the program. I'm kind of curious, too ... No scandals I could find attributed to him during his tenure at UM and personally cleared by all involved at UNC. Should have been in the MNC his last year at UM before going to Browns. Hopefully, Doug does due diligence on getting facts on potentials, not perception ... Sorry, but UM was his predecessor, got that confused....mea culpa....but UNC scandal was ridiculous and even if he was cleared of direct personal knowledge, it shows a football first, last, everything mentality that is errr has corrupted minor league errr college football. There were classes at UNC where only FB players were "attending" and he didn't know...c'mon man.
  8. Butch Davis has ran programs that he left in shambles due to violations and academic scandals...not what we need. We don't want to be the new U as a win at all costs program
  9. Ohh! Got it...they show BW as #1 on the spring 2-deep and Aston #2
  10. http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/sports/comments/for-petes-sake/ He was last seen (logged on) on Jan 4th, 2007. What happened to him? Anyway... Howie Howie Howie Mama Bull...are y'all from Omaha?
  11. ET..why suprised. Are you a Public Enemy fan? Don't Believe the Hype? The guy is the most heralded recruit in our history...of course everyone expects him to be the man already. I voted for Aston just to skew the numbers.
  12. From the ISU Scouts 06 Season preview... - Tyrone McKenzie, Soph. The Michigan State transfer will be fantastic on the strongside. He was unstoppable on the scout team last season showing off Add Chris Robinson on the weakside and Ben leading the corps from the middle....ooohhhhhh oooohhhh oooooohhhhhh getting excited.
  13. my bad on the year, if you remember, they used to park beer trucks outside the dome and offer free beer for students....brain cells a wonderful thing to waste.
  14. Hakim Shaheed...how could you forget his dunks and the fireworks going off in the dome????
  15. We have been dancin...back in 93/93 when Radenko and Fred led the Bulls to a near first round upset of Georgetown. We didn't storm the court, but we partied like it was 1999. We also filled the dome and were so loud and obnoxious that Denny Crum whined the seats away from him after we held up Cun U Reed signs during Timeouts.
  16. ESPN Rankings Big East 27 Pittsburgh 31 West Virginia 38 Louisville 42 South Florida 64 Rutgers 64 Syracuse 77 Connecticut 86 Cincinnati Others 4 Miami (FL) 20 Florida State 52 UCF Within .3 of Loserville, so could finish in the top 40. Interestingly, they have Mike Ford rated a 79 out of 100. Noel Devine 89, Joe McKnight (#1 RB) listed at 92. Put this all out to pasture and play the games on the field. CJL has recruited better and better each year, and as we win more, BIG talent will come. If we can get more than 30-40K in the stadium EVERY week...building tradition and a loyal fan base will increase recruiting more than wins.
  17. Enter Smazza, insert stick, and mix fecal matter...smazza mission complete. Is the sky blue in your world? Well actually it is a combination of hues and light refrac.........................
  18. Recruiting rankings are good for YaBB banter and selling $9.95/month online subscriptions....lets look at our highest ranked recruits over the history of USF (4-Stars and above) 1. Courtney Denson - Auburn Transfer..buried on the bench 2. Andre Hall - Stud, best RB in USF History (only played 2 yrs) 3. Carlton Hill - So far bust as QB, question mark as Safety or WR 4. Leslie Stirrups - Never made the field 5. Frank Harry - Homesick 6. Mike Ford - "The next coming"?? 7. At least 5-6 other 3-stars who never did much(McCullough, Peyton, etc.) Let's look at some others 2-Stars 1. Stephen Nicolas - Potential NFL Starter (4 yr Bull) 2. Bill Grammatica - Former NFL Kicker (4 yr Bull) 3. George Selvie - 1st Team Freshman All American 4. Matt Grothe (3-Star) - supposedly only 2nd best QB in that recruiting class(see Carlton Hill) 5. Amarri Jackson - Former BB player labeled as a project--doing very well So when you look at it scientifically, it means diddly poo until they get between the white lines
  19. Word is up to 12 prospects come in on the weekend of the 2nd to finalize this recruiting class
  20. Smazza whether or not you are having lunch in Beverly Hills or your usual appetizer on Hollywood and Vine, you have to admit that our 2-star talent is routinely competing with at least 3 perennial Top 25 recruiting classes (Loserville, West Verginny, and Pissburgh) between the white lines where it counts....oh wait not you don't or won't admit that someone else might be right...MY Bad!!!
  21. Some good news to aid in healing of terrible loss. We can all imagine Keeley on the bench waiving his towel for the Top 25 Bulls. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/stewart_mandel/01/16/early07.rankings3/index.html South Florida Bulls (9-4) Who's back: QB Matt Grothe, LB Ben Moffit, CB Mike Jenkins. Who's not: LBs Stephen Nicholas and Pat St. Louis. Skinny: Sixteen starters return from this unsung Big East squad whose speedy defense shut down West Virginia's Slaton and White in a Nov. 25 upset.
