If Robinson would get his act together, he may step in for Selvie at DE instead of LB.

I wish he would pull it together this season, so much promise 2 years ago. Last season, I would have wagered that we would be talking more about him than Selvie.

Also interesting, Jim, that you are assuming Nate Allen will go pro, too.  I guess that's possible...Selvie would be the only guy I'd assume would leave early, but that's me.  That would make Verpaele's medical redshirt more important.

If you scroll down... you will see our starting roster...

We will be losing 8 of 11 projected starters (4 of which are on the o-line)

and 5 on defense including 2 starting linebackers.

I don't mean to look ahead with the season starting days away but I was surprised to see we have so many starting seniors this year.

had usf been recruiting studs last 3 years next year shouldnt have been a problem

Yeah, which could put Verpaele at SS with Sinclair or whoever backing them up...I think Q Washington, Theo Wilson, and Tyson Butler would compete with Sinclair for the nickel spot...whoever doesn't get the 2nd CB spot.

I thought this was Verpaele's 5th year?  I don't think he'll have any eligibility left after '08, barring another injury.
