Grutza was very efficient and he felt very comfortable in the offense but, it was against a 1-aa team so you can't really tell, we will know everything next week in Norman.

Ben's really pathetic now.   The earliest he'll be able to join the Cinci team at this point is maybe 9/4, and that's if they can reach a verdict by Tuesday.  

What good is Ben at this point to the team?  He hasn't practiced all year, the kid needed shots in his arm last year to keep him going?  I mean where's he going with this now?  Is it purely attorney driven now (sometimes these lawfirms get a case like this which has federal attraction, and run with it)?

If the NCAA voted to approve, by sheer luck, at this point Ben's looking at probably sitting the bench, probably not even physically ready to perform until maybe/probably the 4th game of the season.  Then he's waiting for Grutza to get benched to play?  I mean Kelly doesn't strike me as being an idiot coach, because only an idiot coach, at this point, would bench Grutza without cause, by say the 2nd or 3rd game, in favor of strictly playing Ben just because he's Ben.  This ain't the pros folks there wouldn't be a faster way to lose a lockerroom than that in college.  Ben should sit back and realize at this point he's only fighting to be a benchwarmer.  Is that really what he wants?

Maybe if he gets the OK to play and then doesn't play, he can ask for a redshirt for next year due to LEGAL reasons.  ;D
