For .... Bucs and Bulls wouldn't be where they are today without it.

LOL USF gets screwed playing at RJS.

CJL would disagree with you ...

Granted it is better than building a cheap ass dump (like the Tin Can) RJS is a "community stadium built with tax dollars" and we get raped by the glazers, and have to give up a prime time home game so the ACC can play a championship game. Our lease is a joke.

You don't have a clue. If it wasn't for RayJay WE would probably be playing in a cheap ass dump like UCF or playing at Jesuit.....

And what the uninformed like you don't know, or don't care, about is, although that stadium has been built for 10 years, the CIT is still providing extra money for the the communities in Hillsborough County... It was beneficial to EVERYBODY.

No ..... did I say EVERYTHING about the new stadium was beneficial to us? I'll take the non-financial benefits that come with RayJay at this point in time ....

If the Bucs didnt get a new stadium and moved, then USF would have the old Tampa Stadium to themselves, Honestly I think that would have been a good thing for us. Kinda like USC at the Rose Bowl.

The Ole Sombrero needed extensive renovations for safety reasons............. Not sure how that would have worked out way back then.

The rennovations at the Sombrero were BS to get a new stadium.

I'm against most of it. But for some of it.

RJS is a great venue, but the tax is a farce, much of the cost was supportrd by property taxes, which could go to schools, etc.

I have no problem with a city or state paying for a stadium or any other venues if a sports team that plans to use it can pay of 60 or 70% of the costs over a number of years. Let tractor pulls and church revivals pay the remaining.

For or against public money/taxes going to coorporate America to get or keep a company, (aka Jabil Circuit, St. Pete Forum a few years back, or any other number of large companies in the Bay area)?

Same deal - If you want it, you gotta pay for it. At least this one they asked your opinion first.
