Rogers-Cromartie just ran an unofficial 4.28 as well...

I think the scouts might have more doubts about him... if Mike had run closer to 4.4, then maybe Rogers-Cromartie would squeeze by him in the draft, but I think by having similar speeds, that Mike holds the edge.

I bet he does well on everything else.  So what about Tyvon Branch at Uconn...had a better forty time, better bench.  Jenks vids are better because he played more man, but Branch did a lot of returning.  Tyvon might have leapfrogged a few other corners with this showing.

Not to mention Rogers-Cromartie is a track sprint star in college too.  The NFL will take that into consideration, i.e. he's suppose to do well in the 40 event.  Although he did measure a true 6-1...might be a steal in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Not a shocker.  Remember early in his playing days, somebody would get burnt, and Jenks was always the guy coming out of nowhere to push them out of bounds.  I recall the Miami game where he did this.  Dude has serious speed.  When he turned the jets on from that runback vs Cincinnati you could tell he had a different type of speed.

And with a lot of the measurables being equal or close to equal, it may also come down to the interviews and what the teams think of the person under the athletic exterior...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
