Every year USF takes a step forward on the field, last year it was being ranked, year before, Bowl win, etc.

Big East is ripe for the picking, and I think we have the edge going into the season.

Reading all of this stuff is kind of humorous in a sense.  I love how fans try to relate recruiting rankings into the success of a football program.  As long as our coaches feel satisfied with the talent they got, I am happy with that.  They are the ones that need to produce wins on the field.  Several items that these rankings do not take into account:  heart, motivation, teamwork, etc.  These rankings take into account potential attributes and successes on a HS football field.  I trust the coaches to determine how successful these kids will be.  As many of us know, high school is a lot different than college.

its nice to think about that stuff for next year, but it's going to kill us the next year when we lose 4 OL

We have some young guys that will be ready for '09.  But it wouldn't surprise me to see us pick up a couple of JuCo OL next year like we did with the DL this.

one or two redshirt freshman will earn starts in '08 on OL.

2010 is going to be big benchmark for the program, and that’s what I was referring to. As CJL

stated next is going to big year. They have been recruiting some of these kids for 3 years. :)
