not that leavitt would leave but i think we need a bigger buyout.

The assistant coaches salary pool is the key. ANY increase in that area is important to "recruit" better coaches.

An average of more than $1.8 million over the next 7 years, is not bad... comparable to other BCS coaches now.

The increase for the assistants' pool is nice as well.

**** that's a jump, hope the assistant pool jumps a lot, we need to be competitive with this.

Glad to see we offered CJL's going rate.

I have a feeling we're going to hear from a certain alumno group again...

i really hope we start snagging some assistants from big name schools, preferably from the SEC.

also hope McCarney stays.  guy is good.  i know he has the itch for another HC job, but he is a real asset to us here.
