Can't you order them online? Last month everyone was looking for XBox 360s for xmas, and I just ordered it online and got it shortly there after.

RT, do you have GameStop's up there? They used to be E-B Games.

Maybe the rainchecks were just for Christmas, though ....

yea, I called them after I saw your post and they said they weren't taking any kind of preorders or anything, just to call back in a couple of weeks.

Couple games... one for the kids, one for me (Tiger Woods 08).  Extra controller, some stupid other trinket that I'll return once it arrives =)

Now that you scored a Wii, make sure to download all the neat TurboGrafx-16 games on the Wii Virtual Console. The TG-16 is such an underappreciated system, and I was ecstatic about Nintendo emulating games like Bonk's Adventure and Lords of Thunder. I actually still have my old TG-16 hooked up to a TV and have friends come over to play 5-player Bomberman 93. The drunken fun never stops. I know, I know, I'm a vintage video game nerd, what can I say?  ;D
