Ray Rice is gone, but USF should be beyond the point of waiting for players to leave early to contend.

we will play other power-backs like Ray Rice or better (uhh.. J. Stew?), and the Bulls are gonna have to find a way to stop them.

McCoy and Dixon were freshmen last year... I think both were TRUE freshmen... so that means 2 more years of stopping them.

Mine comment was more wishful thinking. I knew McCoy was a freshman but didn't realize that about Dixon ..... just great.

if i recall, McCoy didnt exactly punish us on the ground... altho i think he caught some passes out of the backfield to supplement his rushing numbers.

there is no excuse for Dixon killing us.  the Bulls just didnt come to play that day.

Ray Rice was a killer to us, him and the refs.

I have no doubt we can take it to dixon and continue to stop the other guys in the Big East this year.

No doubt about that, but he has this offseason to really get those blocking schemes down. Otherwise, he won't be sniffing the field as much.

Good for Rice.  How about we get good and agressive against the run next year.

Rice's stats against us were in large part due to the matchup advantage RU's line has over us.  The two best RB's we played this year were Jonathan Stewart (he will haunt my dreams forever) and Fannin from Auburn (but for his freshman fumbles he was looking to gash us all night).

This post was not meant to be a slam on Rice (or K. Smith) but my opinion on Stewart and Fannin . . . they're filthy.

If RU has a serviceable back, they will successfully run against USF next year at RayJay.
