NationalChamps has been riding the wagon for a while now.

they put us in the Top 25 in last year's early bird... probably one of the first to do so.

don't know if i'd put us at #19.  the answers on offense are not quite bigger than the questions on defense.  some big shoes to fill.

Kansas will answer a lot of questions...  i fully expect Leavitt and Gregory to play that one like they SHOULD have played the Sun Bowl, and come out with the throttle wide open.

Sucks that we lost all our momentum by losing against Oregon, and 'just' finishing the season winning 3 out of our last 4 games. Heh?

Next year should be a big year, we'll have a nice mix of young players with experience and a solid core of veterans.

I showed that one after one of MikeG's posts ---- look at the date!  They didn't see our El Paso, hot pepper meltdown in the Sun Bowl.  Throw that one out with the trash ;D

Their banking on Laurinatis and Jenkins returning, if both return I can definitely see Ohio State as the #1 team offensive basically everyone returns and if the 2 guys I mentioned returned Ohio State will have one of the top defenses again. I like how they only rank USC #5, USC loses the core of their defense and a bunch of offensive guys including 3 O-linemen but it's popular to rank them #1 for some reason.

I'm also happy to see no BYU, the Cougars have a lot of holes to fill on defense.

rivals is a partner with yahoo! sports and this is now on their FRONT page of sports.yahoo.com so there is atleast 70,000 people to look at this.  based on the rates that they give me when i try to sell them advertisiing.....you can probably count on around 300,000 people looking at this poll.
