How About our Basketball Team?

Trying to just put all of the other news to the wayside.  But our hoops team has surprised everyone up to this point.  Through 14 games, I doubt any of us would have predicted 10-4.  I know I didn't.  I would have said maybe 5-9 or so.

I probably would have said 8-6, but I would have guessed wrong on a which games would have been the 8 wins.

I wouldn't have guessed FSU, and I would have guessed Buffalo and URI.

They are playing well.  KG and Dominique are a very tough tandem, and when the role players are contributing as well... they are dangerous.

That said, the road doesn't get anything but tougher, beginning with Cuse this weekend, then Pitt.

cant wait until the game tomorrow, will give us an idea of where this team is. i believe we can win but everyone is going to have to contribute, not just KG and DJ

seems to me that we pretty much understand who will be very difficult to beat (Cuse, Pitt etc) and who we have a legitimate shot of winning against.

The trick is not to overestimate the team's ability to shock those tough teams or to get all down on the team should they lose games they are not expected to win.

We will have our fair share of mopes who fly off the handle as soon as the team loses ANY game.

The key to me is seeing if we can get a few conf wins on the road ..... it's been a **** long time.
