these aren't Heath's kids running off on Heath....

We have our savior......

Seth was the best coach USF ever had untill Heath showed up on campus.

Then why did everyone blame Mac for running off seth's kids?  Hypocrite.

Actually, I think what our delirious friend maybe was refering to was that Mac's own recruits bailed out on him ...... although, there's no telling what's running through the warped mind of someone who thinks Seth was the best coach we ever had.   ;)

you would be correct.... now that I think of it maybe Lee Rose is a little better than Seth.

How much crap was spewed by the darksiders over "mac running off"

1)  Jimmy Baxter

2)  Yusef Baker

probably others too (danny oglesby?)

I can't defend the players that Mac recruited and didn't stay like Collin Dennis, but it wasn't only mac recruits that enraged the darksiders... but whatever...

at least they are being positive for now with Heath... i guess that's all I can ask for, regardless of logic.

So are a lot of coaches...it's the beauty of the profession.  After a couple nice paychecks you can pretty much wait for the right opportunity.  I guarantee Stan Heath will not have to work at the end of his tenure at USF.

But as puc says, RMC is coaching some amateur team.

The point of my earlier comment was understood by Velcro, et al.

No, its not odd at all.  WE ARE STILL PAYING HIM.

If he got a job, regardless of salary, we'd be off the hook.

I'd sit back and relax, too.

yep-- it's like we are paying alimony to CRM

If Curry felt the need to move on for more playing time-- I can understand that. We've had plenty of guys do that on the football team. Not sure how big a loss it is since we seemed pretty deep at that position also.

wish him all the luck at his next school

Um, no.  If he got a job he'd be drawing a new salary plus his USF salary.  The only way that works is when a professional player is put on waivers and claimed by another team, then they are still playing under the original contract.
