41? Hell, that's well above freezing.  The players should be so pumped up they shouldn't even notice the weather.

kickoff is also at noon, i believe... so the midday sun should add a little warmth.

I don't worry about the temperature, I worry about field conditions, footing, etc.  Many say Heinz has the worst playing surface in the NFL.  I don't believe we play our best on dirt or mud.  Just google Heinz Field and read all the horror stories . . .

Temparatures in the mid 30s or 40s when you are running around won't be a problem at all.  It doesn't become a problem until the low 20s.  The temparature should be perfect for football.

We have more problems on field turf than a regular grass field.  i don't see the conditions as problem at all.

It was worse at UCONN, it was raining there. We will pull it out and do fine.

You gotta win < 45 degree game eventually.  Make it now...we do play in the Big East...we should always be mentally prepared for this!

well history says otherwise for a bunch of Florida kids, many of whom have never played in weather like that.

guys like Mitchell, Bogan, Hester, Ford, Taylor and Allen have most likely never played in that type of weather.

even guys like Grothe and Selvie didn't see very cold temps last year... i dont even think Louisville on Nov. 18th last year was anywhere near the low 40s.

our Bulls this year are certainly more talented and more balanced than last year and should win this game, but to say the temp wont be an issue at all might be just a little overly optimistic...  the key will be the 1st and 3rd quarters coming out of the lockerrooms.  if the guys can get themselves warmed up and adjusted to the climate change quickly without giving up anything early, we'll be fine.

the fact that the game is at noon is a definite plus.  need that sunshine.

It Won't matter.  We're going to ride Ford all day long in that weather.  Add in a little bit of Grothe play action and that clock will be continually running.  I look for the Panthers to play us close with this weather/bad footing, but we should still win by 10-14.

Under armour makes long sleeve undershirts and gloves, so we should be OK.  Its football for crying out loud, not baseball.

We are not sponsored by Under Armour yet so they can't wear those shirts yet but we can wear long sleeve Nike shirts.

And the Cincinnati game last year was in the low 30's, so a lot of our guys have played in the cold but that didn't bode too well.

as long as the field is dry we should be fine.  that UConn game with the cold and the rain.  it really killed our team speed.
