mid 40s with low wind and sun out is not bad, even without a jacket if you are moving to generate some heat.

The Miami hurricanes used to play Big East games in cold weather with a bunch of Florida boys and it never seemed to bother them that much.  Too much is made of the temperature when it is above freezing.

on the scout pittsburgh board, a user mentions that there are FOUR high school games playing on Heinz field the day before our game....anyone know if this is true?

that would make even dry conditions terrible for footing etc...

I was talking with Jared Carnes and he did tell me that was true.

Yes it true,  there will be 4 regional high school championships games that will be played on Friday.  They are also calling for snow showers.  I think the field will be quite mucky for Saturday.  I think it is time for the Rooneys to install Field Turf.
