The discussion after the trash talking was much better. Both picked USF to win.

Highlight of trash talking:

Rutgers Fan (Rutgers paper writer):

Ohio State is more overrated than USF, at least USF has beaten Auburn and WV.

Bulls Fan (Oracle writer):

I hear Rutgers is wearing all black, that is fitting b/c if USF plays the game its capable of playing, your season will be fading into black.

Are you freaking serious?!?!?!

They take someone from the Oracle to represent us. There's more people on this board that know more about USF than some of the people that write for the Oracle. This is the newspaper that said USF's first ever game was a loss at Citadel. They should have found one of us to do the talking.

They always get sports writers.

He should have called them SLUTGERS!

that probably would have been bleeped or edited.  lol.

but yes, SOME play on their name would have been nice.

maybe a "one good season in 200 years of football" pot-shot...

i also liked the comments on this board about their black uniforms being for their "funeral" or to hide the **** stains.

a few jabs at Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi would have been nice, along with insults of the state of New Jersey in general...

and for the coup de grace, i would have taken a shot at the Rutgers fan's **** smear goatee, before insulting his mama.

The Rutgers kid had on a sweatshirt with the name of the RU paper on it.  Our kid had on a dress shirt with no logo in site.  Not good.

Rutgers Fan:

South Florida isn't even in South Florida.

(ESPN puts up a map with an arrow pointing to Lakeland (north of Tampa) for some reason)

yea the worst part is when he couldnt even defend why we were called Univ of SOUTH FLORIDA

ummm....maybe because when the university opened in the late 50s it was the southern most public university in Florida.

geez!!  lucky it was shown in the afternoon and hardly anyone was watching.
