Have they reserved seats in the upper deck for student/compainion overflow?  I'm just curious, because I know for sure that the 8,000 reserved student seats in the lower bowl will not be nearly enough.  I'm bringing 7 companions myself, along with my tailgate group which usually numbers from 15-20 people...

I'm going in when the gates open, so it wont matter for me, I just don't like the possibility of people getting turned away from the event if a sellout were to occur...

I will not be tailgating for the WVU game i will just get there and start standing by the student entrance.  Im more than willing to sacrifice tailgating to make sure im not in the nose bleeds or maybe even left out in the cold.

if the games at 8, then gates open at 6:30

1.5 hours before kickoff.

Im pretty sure they are not gonna reserve upper deck for overflow and will instead sell more tickets. SO get ready to get their early or be denied a seat if your a student, or end up standing near the pirate ship.

i imagine they will have the a section or 2 up in the upper level for the students....

they wont turn a student away.  how can they justify that atheletics fee all students have to pay per credit hour?

If they can justify tickets for parking a quarter of an inch on a white line im sure they will be just fine with this.

Just to clarify: While the students do get in for free, there has always been a set amount of tickets for them and their sections.  Once those tickets are done, they are done.

We've just never reached the point where we ran out of student ticekts...

I would hope there would maybe be a contingency plan if we were to have more student/companions than the allotment allows, but if not you do what you have to do.
