This will always be the SunDome for old timers.  The only people that will call it the new name will be the students that start afterwards.  They should definitely put the name SunDome after the primary name or no one will call it that.

Actually, if they call it the AFS SunDome... then no one will mention "AFS" ... so why would they want to pay for the right to name it... remember, for AFS - it's about marketing.

So it has to be the AFS Arena at the University of South Florida...

has anyone of ya'll ever thought that the name "sundome" is kind of an oxymoron? I mean - its a DOME. It doesn't let in any sun. Thats kind of the point of a DOME isn't it. Im all for the change. Anything that brings in revenue after even more budget cuts is allright in my book.

Where did that rendering come from, with the luxury boxes and electronic marquees? It makes the Sun Dome actually look good on the inside.
