As far as basketball, always hated UT  

It does seem to be between the two and Skyway getting the nodge for national exposure.

I really like the Tampa area and as far as national appeal, always hear people brag about how good TIA is.

Yeah, I can't talk much about the bball team.  Some good guys (I've worked out with a couple of them on occasion), but as a team, not the best around here.  By the way, your baseball team is playing at UT in the South Regional that starts today.  It's a LOADED region.  Winner will have the upper-hand at the D2 CWS.

before I moved down here, when I thought of Tampa I thought of Busch Gardens.

Sunshine State Conference is a very strong conference for all DII sports, very impressive.

Tampa doesn't "need" to do anything ... it's a great city.
