We averaged more fans for our home games than USF with only 4 wins. I must say I'm proud.

Well when you look at the team's we played at home- no U of L, no WVU...only real exciting team was Rutgers, our attendance wasn't all that bad. Next year's a different story and will be much better =)

GSU SHOULD FORGET IT

their situation is nothing like usf's

Gotta agree. Their dorms are directly across the street from the campus of Georgia Tech. From the north face of their dorms you can watch a Ga Tech football game at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Any college fan in Atlanta is a fan of Ga or Ga Tech. Ga State had NO CHANCE!

For a Bowl winning BCS Team?

24,000 plus actual fans per game would be an embarrassment to most BCS programs.

Heck...many get that many and more to show up for practice!

But if you want to stay and be compared to say a non-BCS CUSA Team...it wasn't that bad.

Fabricating now...

BTW, you really should properly scale comparison schools, more like

Schools that have been BCS 2 years or less, in existence 10 years or less and located in a major metropolitan area.  The attendance numbers for USF compared to UCF (and their 30 years existence) is the decider.  UCF is way behind.

(BTW, the bowl win came after the season was over...you know that right?)

USF outdrew many longtime BCS members.

Nonetheless enjoy the attendance victory.

Keep "hanging in there" as the media says...

I lived in the ATL for 9 years.  It would never work.  You think USF is a commuter school, think again.  Georgia State is even worse.  UGA owns that state, including the city of Atlanta.  Georgia Tech has trouble selling out Bobby Dodd Stadium for conference games.  I put this at 1% chance of success.

In 30 years they'll build a small stadium and declare success - the blueprint is there.

So your saying in 20 years, USF will build a small stadium?  ;)

We averaged 1K less fans than you and we have played football 20 years less than you. I must say I'm proud. We have 20 years to make up that difference. Hmm, I wonder what our attendance is going to look like in 20 more years.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
