  1. Yeah any word on Stan Heath??? A sports producer friend out in Arkansas just left me a message asking cuz he heard it as well. Anyone else hear anything about it???
  2. Makes me kinda upset when people keep talking about how "basketball" is over, when we still have a very talented women's team in the Big East Tournament, and hopefully in the NCAAs.
  3. I miss 2 games and this happens..sheesh! Puppy sitting though, so what can I do? You think I could bring the dog out there tomorrow? She'll be wearing a USF bandana???
  4. Thanks again guys!! I went to USF St. Pete for 2 years and my best friend Megan Willoughby is actually president of their student government, so I will do my best to try and get them more involved. I agree that we really need to get them coming to more athletic events. And yes, Michael Jackson was well before his time. I just liked him a lot growing up. And Crambone- my mom is right here (came home for the night after work) and she can't stop laughing at your posts...she loves you! lol
  5. Thanks guys!!!! You are the best I can't believe how many people have seen it!! And from what I hear, I won't be the last USF cheerleader on there this year, so stay tuned!
  6. U of L was garbage anyway....soooo overranked it wasn't even funny. I was waiting for them to give our girls SOME kind of a challenge!
  7. Aww I <3 you Light Blue...and miss you! Where have you been??? Thank you so much! that means a lot, especially coming from a fellow cheerleader! BullDaly- Thank you so much! Yeah, that's my goal too....and you betcha I will give USF some much-needed love and respect cuz obviously the current pollsters don't know what they're talking about
  8. Hey thanks guys!!!...I wore Louisville gear twice! Ok? And that was after Matt kindly asked me not wear his jersey and to not get into any fights with fans during his senior game...I was sitting with his parents for goodness sake! And by the way, he and I are no longer together, but are still great friends and talk almost every day. His Christmas present was a signed Leavitt helmet that he looooves. And I still think it's horrible what was done to the Baltimore Colts, but Tony Dungy and his players have nothing to do with that. I recall Peyton Manning wanting to pay homage to the late Johnny U at a game and was told by league officials that he would be reprimanded for doing such. Regardless, I think Johnny U's a legend....I love Dungy...and I KNOW that we will also have people like that come out of our program as positive role models in the community and legends on the field...we've already had a few in my opinion. To be a sideline reporter for USF in a national championship game would be THE greatest day in my life and it would be an absolute HONOR to report it!! It'll happen folks, it'll happen (the national championship part at least! hehe) Thanks again guys! I'm hoping to get some more of my teammates on there as well and they also asked me if I could get them in contact with some of our football players...they def like USF over there!
  9. Hey guys....check out Sports Illustrated On Campus's website featuring myself and the USF cheerleaders! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/sioncampus
  10. And I know everyone's upset that coaches are leaving, but think of it this way.... People are REALLY starting to recognize what a strong program of coaches and athletes we have down here.  They see coaches who take walk-ons, and often not the most highly-touted recruits...they get those guys working hard, refine their mechanics, and POOF! USF upsets some MAJOR programs. People wanna know how we did it, so it's only logical that they go for our coaching staff and hope they can reap some of that success. Best of luck to both Rod Smith and Greg Frey, as well as to Lawrence Dawsey and Bernard Clark.  Hope you cherished your memories as Bulls as much as we enjoyed having you.  Know you always having a home here at USF and there are no ill feelings, at least not from me!
  11. If my professor will let me out of class....shoot, I might just go anyway.
  12. Since I KNOW you go on these boards and all...You've made me sad...now I'm not gonna now like any of the coaches anymore...lol :'( While you're over there though, convince that coach of theirs to give Bednarik a chance at QB again...he's a much better passer than White! Agghh, then again, maybe not...we want to make it 2 in a row ;-)
  13. Yeah they weren't doing anything stenuous...I don't even think they started winter conditioning yet. But as far as a pre-existing condition goes- the staff that conducts the physicals does a THOROUGH job of examining the athletes to ensure they're apt to handle the physical demands of their sports. Even the cheerleaders have to fill out about 15 pages worth of medical history...so please don't think these guys aren't in good hands. Even though I'm a cheerleader and technically should applaud whatever the athletics department does, you guys on here know I'm outspoken enough to where I'd speak my mind, and that's my honest assessment of it all. It was an accident.
  14. Oh yeah, speaking of that....you guys might find this interesting... I never noticed but on his facebook is this quote right here- "Enjoy life today,Yesterday is gone, and Tomorrow may never come, Live life to the fullest" (it's tattooed on his back too)
  15. One of my teammates called me on my way to my internship....was driving through malfunction junction. I'm still in shock. He was such a neat person, a REALLY nice guy. He had that infectious smile and such a wonderful sense of humor. I can't believe he's gone. I spoke to a few of my friends on the team, including one who was one of his best friends and another who was right there when it happened. Everybody's having a tough time with it. I was just in the weight room around noon today. I'm not gonna be able to go in there for a while.
  16. Okay I have to say something here.... Jeff Fox is a Bulls alum, and a diehard at that. He was one of the first, if not the first to bring lots of authentic quality Bulls merchandise to the area outside of the bookstore (not sure who came first, BullsOutfitter or Bucs and Bulls Heaven) But please don't question his loyalty to USF. He's simply trying to meet the demand of his customers. Whether we like it or not, there's a large group of gator alum and fans in the area. If they're not gonna get stuff at his store, they'll go elsewhere to find it. Now I'd like to make everyone clear on the fact that the store also sells championship gear from local sporting events and yes, other schools. He's got Outback Bowl gear at his store as well and will be carrying Penn State championship t-shirts more than likely. And who can fault him when there's 1,500 Penn State Alums in the area. He's a man trying to make a living like everyone else.
  17. Eh, I hear he's got an attitude problem and gets into a lot of fights
  18. Yep it's been comfirmed...the bf just called after the "team meeting" they mentioned on ESPN.com. The guys are all in shock...I'm still in shock. Just met the guy too. But whatever...in the words of the bf- "Guess money talks and bull**** walks"
