Women's Tennis Wins USF's First BIG EAST TITLE

That is an awesome win....I'm thinking Notre Dame is starting to not like the words "South Florida".  

Beat 'em in Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, 2 of 3 in Baseball...today the Big East Title in Women's Tennis from the #2 team in the country and a softball sweep in South Bend.

I like the sound of "we beat Notre Dame" and I don't care what sport we're talking about...can't wait to say it in football!

Just curious, what other conference titles has USF won? I know this would be the first in the Big East.

Women's tennis gives USF first Big East crown

The optimistic mainstream fan might have guessed it would be Jim Leavitt's football team. Others thought it might be Ken Eriksen's softball team. But on Sunday afternoon, it was USF's women's tennis team, directed by second-year coach Agustin Moreno, that gave the Bulls their first-ever Big East championship, knocking off No. 2-ranked Notre Dame 4-3 for a landmark win.
