I can say I was a darksider, but def. not a chicken little.  I know we will hire a good coach.  BUT...

i think  our fans are more nervous about how people are turning us down from mid majors to stay or look for a better big conference opening in the future.  Not that we havent made a hire yet.  

It is a little discouraging, you all have to admit.

hmmm and what makes you think that the big time coach would have come here when the midmajors are not?

There is a reality that is finally apparent to some of you ,winning in basketball at USF with the current support and league will not be an easy task.

So those with other options will wait for better odds.

now there is a lot of talk from the darksiders about "would they want our job?"  like its such a graveyard position.

its clear that once a darksider, always a darksider.  it is just their personality to be complaining all the time.

they complained when we had a coach because he wasnt the right guy, now they are complaining that we havent hired a new coach.

People that Woolard wants are turning down the job; why wouldn't fans be a little concerned?? Personally, I'm not worried yet; but I can't say the past few days have been great for the search.  

If Mike Jarvis and Fran Fraschilla say no, then I'll probably start to worry.

It will take a long time for this program to heal the horrible hiring move that was made when MAC was brought in..

It will be looked upon as the low point of USF's basketball program

Cincy.  Big East. Confidence. Up for a challenge. 800K a year with incentives.  Oh yea, and the fact that him and his people expressed interest in us.

One second you're saying it will take years to recover... The next you're saying the next coach will come in and win next year. Make up your mind.

I realize you say stupid, contradictory stuff like this just to get a response .... I don't want to disappoint. You obviously need it.
