Come back for Papa_Bull (aka HowieP)?

I noticed that he logged on today... and maybe changed his name today too.

I would love for him to become a frequent poster like he once was when I became a frequent "visitor" since 2002 (until finally registering in 2005).

As we have seen from other message boards (USF and opposing teams), Howie adds a lot to the discussion.

We'd all love to have HowieP back as a contributing member.  But for Howie and some others, including one of our board's founding fathers, the growth of the board has led to a broader range of knowledge and style.  Meaning, several posters knowing less and spouting off more, often rudely.

So, it goes with the territory.  Either we start banning and closing the board because of the a-hole factor, or we try to stress the "community, accountability and responsibility" you have here as a member.

Before I started this board I posted at one that is no longer open.  The reason I left that board?  Smart ass posters that thought because they had been members longer knew more than anyone else.  But I digress.

Still,  the rationale holds, there are times when I am embarassed to be associated with this board.  [highlight]I clearly understand Howie's decision not to post here anymore.[/highlight]

Perhaps if we cleaned up our collective act, we would once again be attractive to all Bulls fans everywhere.   Afterall, that is the goal.  

I understand as well.  He was brutally attacked (not by me) a while back.

But, having said that, [highlight]just about all of those involved have apologized (repeatedly)[/highlight]

It's time for HowieP to forgive & rejoin his Bull Brethren!!!

I would love to see Howie posting on the board again.  Until and/or if he does start to participate again, rest assured he is doing his part, promoting USF on other boards.  

I have tried to convince him to start posting again, however, it is his decision to make.  I am sure he knows that many of you support him and want to see him back.  

It makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over to know that so many of you care that much about Mama Bull's other half.
