Based on what I read C4 may be making a push for safety. Do you guys think he can make a push for a starting spot? IMO, we should keep him at WR. With his athleticism, he could easily be another playmaker catching the ball...........our wr corp is deep.

We have a LOGJAM of talent at both safety positions.  Most of he guys back there right now have just as much athletecism as Hill, plus they hav been playing the position for years.

Hill is a WR or nothing.

He said Burnham's sold him on the idea of him playing safety. He hasn't played the position with any regularity since high school, and since he's not in until summer, it's hard to imagine him acclimating quick enough to be a real challenger for a starting job at a position with so much back. Remember that Carlton Williams and Danny Verpaele both have parts of two seasons as starters, plus you have Louis Gachette and Nate Allen, etc. ...

And what do we have at the WR spot? Despite the fact we run a spread O, we are loaded there too. Johnson, Jackson, A. Hill, Ce. Hill, Edwards, and we have those redshirt freshman ready to play. There could be room for C4, but between Johnson, Jackson, Ford/Planchar and Grothe....how often will we get him  the ball? Other than the fumbles against ncsu, he showed great atleticism. We should make him our DH. Line this guy up on both sides of the ball and let him make plays. He we would definitely fit into our playbook for trick plays and decoys as a wr.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and respectfully disagree with that statement ...

plus they hav been playing the position for years.

At least two in the mix for next year are converted qb's, Gachette and Allen.

Play him at safety and kick returner.  He's gotta be the best athlete on the team.

As long as the guy is on the field, preferably on Offense.  He has too much talent and is such an athlete, that you want him involved as much as possible.
