Here are the top five from them and their links.Sagarin http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt06.htm1 UF2 Boise State3 LSU4 Wisconsin5 USC30 USFAnderson http://www.andersonsports.com/football/ACF_frnk.htmlNot CompletedBillingsley http://www.cfrc.com/Ratings_2006/WK_17.htm1 UF2 OSU3 UL4 Boise State5 Wisconsin26 USFColley http://www.colleyrankings.com/foot2006/rank16.html1 UF2 USC3 UL4 OSU5 Boise State34 USFMassey http://www.masseyratings.com/rate.php?lg=cf1 UF2 OSU3 LSU4 Boise State5 USC35 USFWolfe http://prwolfe.bol.ucla.edu/cfootball/ratings.htm#first1 UF2 OSU3 Michigan4 UL5 LSU29 USFNote: the lowest score and the highest score are dropped and then an average is taken. This being said and depending on what Anderson has us at (which prior to the bowl is at 38), we will be somewhere in the 30-32 range.

I do notice that in the address it has a UCLA. Michigan #3 is sort of a joke.

Our average ranking is 34 among the 65 rankings they have in, so far. We'd be higher, but one service out of UNF has us at 60!http://www.mratings.com/cf/compare.htm

That one ranking service must be screwed up. Thay have Rice and LA La ahead of us. Rutgers at 36 and Boise at 22!

That is why they delete the highest and lowest in the averaging. Honestly, we should be ranked at about 32 at this point. If we do what we are supposed to next year, we will definitely be in the top 25.

We don't want to have a target on our backs. We've always been able to come into some games a little underestimated. Once they know who we are, we lose that edge. On the other hand, we can always use the recognition wherever and whenever we get it.

Not being in the top 25 (or nearly there) will prevent us from moving as high as we would if we were ranked, everything else being equal.
