Yes...he did swing by practice, and yes, USF would love to have as many

thoroughbreds in the stable as humanly possible, however... Marve wants

to play, and - shocking as this may be to believe - you'd have to be pretty

phenomenal to knock #8 out of the starting job for the foreseeable future.

I doubt someone with his talent, being recruited the way he is, would

savor riding the pine for that length of time.  It makes for good daydreaming

material, but if we were playing for real money...I'd slide all of my chips over

the "Not USF" side of the table.

True, but you can also look at John Brantley, the #1 and 5 star recruit quarterback who committed to florida, he will be riding the bench til tebow leaves

It's great to talk about a 4 Star recruit not being able to start at USF  8-)

And not only at QB ... we have some serious talent on this squad.

Im not so sure Brantley will sit behind Tebow. Tebow is a tremendous athlete, but he leaves a lot to be desired as a passer.  Brantley is much further along as a passer and is more accurate.

I've heard the same things Keys ... Brantley will RS and will battle Tebow then ... unless another QB comes along  8-)

Up in Ohio St. when they signed Justin Zwick (sp?) ... did he ever see the field? 3rd best rated(rivals) Pro-Style QB in 2002.

Brantley will need to RS to put on some weight (hes only LISTED at 180lbs).  If anything Brantley would be a apart of of a 2 headed monster like they ran this year, also Tebow is a better passer than most who havent seen him play extensivley give him credit for.

How can you be so sure? Everything I've read and heard on Marve has him going to the U. It's only a 4 hour car drive away, he has an easier time starting and they have a ton of tradition ($$$).

Grothe left the game 4......FOUR.....times this year. This should be drilled into potential QB recruits' heads.
