Assuming he comes to USF, he'd in all probability be redshirted his first year. He would then have to compete with Grothe and Voss for either the starting or back up spot. Although I would love to see him stay in Hillsborough County, I have mixed emotions. Yes, I would love to see him at USF because the more strength we have in our offensive the better. I can, however, see it from his point of view, getting the opportunity to be the starting QB.Don't forget he did verbal to Alabama. He is still waiting, I am sure, to find out who the new coach there will be. So, basically it is still up in the air.At this point in time, I do not see Matt being supplanted as our number one QB, nor would I want him to be.GO BULLS!!!

They also have a commit from Fanuzzi a similar player thtas 6'3 at QBWright will be gone after the next year. That will leave Marve to compete with Freeman, who's been a bust, and a another two QB's max. I'd love to see him in a USF uni, but I just don't see it happening. I agree with most that it would be a huge get for our program. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I won't be holding my breath for Marve.
