Yeah when you buy thru the USF athletics ticketmaster link it counts for the Bulls.

Done, but with a bonehead twist!  I ordered it and then read that if it is less than nine days before the game, the ticket will be at will call.  There goes a souvenier!  Oh well, it counts as a ticket sold anyway!

I e-mailed louk, cb.  No problem either way it goes.  Once we get into the higher BCS bowls (like next year, for instance) I will be able to attend.

Looks like we are going to have a bigger crowd than last year after all.  Last year sold 6,200, but 1,000 of those were autographed tix, so real number of people attending was 5,200, and we're going to pass that most likely.  Not bad for the Papajohns.com bowl 2 days before Christmas.

I am glad to see the number come that close to last year.  I think last year had a lot more going for it in regards to location, date, opponent, bowl, and the fact that it was our first ever bowl.  

I have a few coming with me this year, but not nearly as many as last.  Last year everyone wanted to be able to say they attended the first bowl game, plus Charlotte was a great spot to party New Years Eve.

We had 6,200 TOTAL sold tickets last year, but I think actual attendance was around 5,000.  Don't have the link handy but it was 6,200 total sold last year.

Last years sales included a number of tickets purchased by NCS fans because they could get better seats than they could through the Wolfpack ticket sales.

That will not be the case with Purple Pirate fans this year.

Do you know if that 5,000+ announced includes the free student tickets?

The student tickets were actually paid for by the Athletic Department, so they should count to the paid total.

At least we're not Nevada... as of 4 days ago, they've only sold 200 tix for the Boise bowl against Miami...
