Good looks on the vids!

Davis really needs to use his hands/use his hands better but has a very good first step and changes direction very quickly.  Could be a great pass rusher in the future!

Although Davis probably has the biggest WOW video. :o  He lived in the backfield and was devastating on his first step.  No way he's the 4.8 one website has him listed.  It was reported at USF he ran in the 4.5's which is why they offered on the spot, he definitely has that speed did you see him run down that QB from behind!

Washington was also very impressive.  Nice burst, good moves, catches the ball with his hands, and breaks on the ball well.

This further amplifies the point that USF does a wonderful job of finding those recruits that often get overlooked.  Washington, and Davis early on were hardly recruited now everyone is calling them but they're Bulls now!  I now pray Davis gets eligible what potential there!

Do we need to worry about this?  How many of this year's recruits will not qualify?  Should we expect another class where we sign near 30 or more?

Watched a few of the clips.

Kelly- Big Boy has quick feet, nice speed and most importantly keeps his legs driving after contact.  Will love seeing him in green and gold.

Washington- had great burst on the ball and made nice open field tackles on rbs.

I'm gonna have to give a double WOW to Davis. Once again great pick up there. Tackles for Loss, Speed, and QB sacks will be plentiful. I'm assuming he'll get the RS though to put 30lbs on.

Yes, the staff is going to sign another large class.  They've probably got 22-23 scholarships to give in August (before any transfers) but expect us to sign another 27-30 person class.  A smart move by our staff, the idea is to sign and place those that don't become eligible.  The plan is to have an enormous JC population that has some gratitude to our staff for signing them and placing them when they were not eligible.  We can end up having a situation like FSU, where we constantly have a bunch of JC players we can turn to.  If we land 1-2 every year like Spires after they've been placed then the strategy was an enormous success.  The idea is every year we can evaluate the JC, and the players we've placed.  If they're better then the HS kids we're looking at then we sign them.  Expect 2-3 next year to be signed especially the big time receiver Roger Frazier who was a teammate of Matt Grothe's!

It's a very smart strategy.  Screw the ignorant perceptions, it will be our opponents taking pot shots when they've got to contend with the Fraziers, and Spires of the world!
