Georga,Miami & FSU didn't deserve to be ranked in the top 25 either but they were so forget about who deserves it lets hope USF by some fluke gets in.

I'm not sold on the fact that USF has earned a top 25 ranking this season

You can't tell me with a straight face that there is some sort of inherent justice in the way that the teams are ranked... It's nothing but a popularity contest. I don't think we'll be ranked no matter what happens during the bowl season--not because we don't deserve it but because our name hasn't been out there as much. Either that or they choose not to see us because we're perceived as some sort of aberration when we beat a good team--instead of being considered a good team ourselves.

USF will not be ranked this year.  Depending on how we do next year there is no reason why we should not, could not, would not be ranked in the top 25.  This year is a lost cause.

A win over ECU, even a blow out, wouldn't move us up the food chaine.

I doubt anything that happens will result in USF being ranked in the top 25 at the end of this season. Sad but true guys.

Let's just win our bowl game and not worry about it.

actually I can say that with a straight face. USF doesn't deserve a top twnety five for two reasons-- losing to Kansas and Cincinatti. f we win those games, we deserve to be ranked. Rutgers and UL I can look past since they are ranked themselves. But thse two losses limit us to the top 30 and above at best. The voting is fair based on what has happened over the couse of the season-- neother FSU or Miami are ranked anymore. Maybe we get more press going into next year BUT that is next year, not this one. We can't escape our losses. They happened.

Well, if GrothE stayed healthy we could have scored more and MAYBE get Top 25, but still hope we get more votes.
