Our nonconference schedule next year doesn't seem all that competitive to me, at least competitive enough to get into the top 25.  Although there are plenty of teams out there in the top 25 who play EASY teams every year *grumbles* But hey, an upset against Auburn, and AT LEAST beating either U of L or WVU (hey I'd personally prefer both) and they'd pretty much HAVE to give it to us.  We really need more than just 1 major upset a year to be ranked.

Auburn may be the only upset in 2007 ... we'll be favored in the rest of the games   ;)

While beating ECU was nice and put a trophy in the showcase...they aren't a BCS team.

We have to win at least 2 of the following games to finish 1  st, 2nd or 3rd in the BE... UL,  WV, and Rutgers and we can't loose to CU, UC, PITT, or  Cuse...otherwise we won't finish better than 4th again.

If we go 10-2 with our schedule next year we will be ranked in the top 15 maybe higher. Auburn, UL, & WVU will all be ranked in the top 15 next year as well so 10-2 will be no easy task. I looks as though Rutgers won't be as tough with them losing so many graduating seniors. Not so with the other heavyweights in the Big East, and Pitt continues to bring in big time talent and should be stronger next year.

that is the problem with a ksu/type schedule

usf will never be a top 25 team until we play a top 25 team schedule or win big east
