Team MVP: Matt, anybody I can name by first name and everyone knows who I am talking about deserves MVP

Heart of the defense: Obviously the Linebackers, but that secondary did much better than expected this year.

Heart of the offense: Matt, see above

Your letter grade for the season and why: A, I did not see a 8-4 or a bowl game coming. Much better than my personal expectations

3 Best plays from the season:

a) A play against UCF, Matt showed maturity waving a long reciever downfield to pull off the defender on the short reciever for an easy and crucial first down.

B) Grothe incredible twisting, turning 20 yard rush against Pitt

c) Ean Randolph's TD against WV

Honorable mention

Two fake punts against Pitt

Taurus Johnson incredible contortionist act against FIU, Leavitt still shakes his head about that one, " He should've gone down."

I loved the three penalties on a punt return against FIU, returning the ball to FIU and giving them an additional 15 yards.

How about the drop pass for the go ahead touch Grothe - Johnson against FIU -Fun!

Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: Win over UCF, hands down.

Games that you attended: McNeese, FIU, UCF, Rutgers, UConn, Syracuse

Your take on next year: 10-2 #15 Second Place -  Gator Bowl

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
