Team MVP: Matt, anybody I can name by first name and everyone knows who I am talking about deserves MVP

Heart of the defense: Obviously the Linebackers, but that secondary did much better than expected this year.

Heart of the offense: Matt, see above

Your letter grade for the season and why: A, I did not see a 8-4 or a bowl game coming. Much better than my personal expectations

3 Best plays from the season:

a) A play against UCF, Matt showed maturity waving a long reciever downfield to pull off the defender on the short reciever for an easy and crucial first down.

B) Grothe incredible twisting, turning 20 yard rush against Pitt

c) Ean Randolph's TD against WV

Honorable mention

Two fake punts against Pitt

Taurus Johnson incredible contortionist act against FIU, Leavitt still shakes his head about that one, " He should've gone down."

I loved the three penalties on a punt return against FIU, returning the ball to FIU and giving them an additional 15 yards.

How about the drop pass for the go ahead touch Grothe - Johnson against FIU -Fun!

Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: Win over UCF, hands down.

Games that you attended: McNeese, FIU, UCF, Rutgers, UConn, Syracuse

Your take on next year: 10-2 #15 Second Place -  Gator Bowl

Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: Seeing the student section packed this year.

Games that you attended: McNeese St., FIU, @UCF, Rutgers, UConn, Pitt

Your take on next year: Big East title not out of the question. Possible to do what Rutgers did this year.

Team MVP: Grothe

Heart of the defense: P.B.S.  our LB's

Heart of the offense: Grothe

Your letter grade for the season and why: B-....would have been a better rating if we beat KU and Rutgers..win them and get a A-

3 Best plays from the season: 1. Grothe's move on Pitt to avoid the sack while being tackled 2. Robinson causing P White fumble and Selvie takin it to the house 3. Robinson sack of Moffitt @ UCF...season could have looked a lot different if we lose that one

Your best fan experience or your point of pride as a fan: going to UCF and watching UCFers walking away dejected....people around hometown recognizing my USF hats and saying "Go Bulls"

Games that you attended: unfortunately only the UCF game

Your take on next year: challenging for the Big East title...at least 9 wins

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
