We will once again be doing some special events on Friday and Saturday working with the rest of the University and the Alumni Association to plan those. As they are finalized, we'll let you know.Eric

There is nothing to do around the hotel unless you like to by jacked up by muggers and bums. About 3 miles east of downtown there is a area called the Five Points South district of Birmingham that has all kinds of clubs, restaurants and bars. I can cancel without penalty if we go to Texas. There are a few cheaper rates out there, but I decided that I wanted to stay at the Team Hotel this year.  Got 2 nights (22/23) for about $210 after taxes.is everyone sure this wil be the team hotel? Also, where do you see that you can cancel? Their website says no.
