Is the current two deep available somewhere to review?

On www.gousfbulls.com they always list game notes of the upcoming game. It hass LOTS of great info, including the 2 Deep and a list of who started the past games etc. Gerdes does a GREAT job !

A must for a BULL fan preparing for each game.

It is pdf form.

... They had been listing freshman walk-on Houston Hess in that spot, but I don't remember him playing linebacker in a game, just on special teams.  ...

Seems he's played a little at LB. And did not see the game at UNC yet, but from MikeG's pics, seemed he played at LB ... a little.

Good timing, ET. I was actually gonna ask about the LBs BEHIND "the big 3" today.

Who are they?

...

I can not give too much commentary as never seen them play, but here are the names. Others can chime in as some already have. * will indicate HIGH Expectations! Bold is definate starter. And year listed will be for 2007.

FR Labrandon Glover *

SO Houston Hess

FR Sabbath Joseph *

FR Alonzo McQueen *

SR Sam Miller *

SR Ben Moffitt

JR Brouce Mompremier *

FR Brandon Peguese *

SO Marvin Peoples *

FR Joshua Smiley *

As you can see we are DEEP with talent at LB. Chris Robinson was originally expected to be on this list, but was moved to DE as a necessity and he has done GREAT at Rush DE. Please, anyone, correct me if you know.

And a lot of things will be starightened out in the Spring, but would have to agree with Greg regarding the starters going n2 Spring, but would include MNiller into the mix. He's only 5-11, but this guy is a monster. Really do not expect a LB to be recruited, unless he is GRRRRRRREEEEAATT !

I think they'll still bring in a linebacker or two. Smiley and Peguese are now defensive ends, so you can take them off the list ...

Sam Miller is a muscle man, but he's really more of a special teams stud, and a decent back-up.  I've stood next to him and I'd say he's more like 5-10, and about 215lbs, but a solid athlete.  I like Sam, but he's a roll player unlike the other freshmen- all three are big time players!

Hess is a monster waiting in the wings. He had a great special teams tackle at UNC. I met his father at a Bucs game (was sitting right behind me)-- so I'm pulling for him to have a great career at USF. He comes from Illinois and kind of slipped under the radar. I don't know how soon he'll get his chance but he sure has the physical size we need out there.

I thought I heard something about Smiley, but wasn't sure.

Thanx.

Mike,

I agree with you about Hess, what little I have seen.

S._Bien.

Miller was moved from Safety, right ?

I didn't realize Peoples was so young.  He came from NCST or Maryland?
