So I thought we should look a little closer at thier results. Remember this was Brohm's first game back from injury. Eastern Kentucky W 31-0 Not really an impressive win agains a 1-AA team Pittsburgh L 15-33 Lost by 18 at HOME to Pitt. I watched the game and was not impressed. Ohio State L 7-37 Stayed with OSU for a while but ultimately got blown out. Virginia Tech L 13-29 Lost by 16 to a suspect VT team that got blown out by BC. Miami (OH) W 24-10OK win, not great. Akron W 20-14 Beat akron by 6 points. Louisville L 17-23Probably best game of year, played UL tough without best RB and QB rusty first game back from injury.Avg loss is by 17.5 points. Haven't beaten a BCS conference opponent yet in or out of conference, wins were against Akron, Miami of OH, and Eastern KY.I am expecting a good tough close game, but I think some are overestimating how good they are based on one game against an underperforming UL team that was missing a key player and anther just back from injury. We can and should win this game.

It's going to take a couple of years to get over that UCONN game last year.

We can and should win this game. UC played good against PITT, reason why we sucked that game played 2 qb's (Backup & Starter) D didn't look good. We almost came back and beat Pitt in the 4th. Since the Pitt game, our starter has improved. vs Ohio State on the roadm the UC D played great hung with the bucks for 3 qtrs, had the lead after the 1st, but got fatigued in the end. vs VT we should of won. UC had the Had the lead at the half, and the beginning of the 4th. What cost us was a few major turnovers, plus the ACC crew made some bad calls. the Bearcat D played good vs VT. On to Miami Oh. The Hawks only scored their 7 on a punt return. In that game Cincy switched to the current RB roation Gregg Moore & Butler Benton. vs Akron the Zips started out 14-0. Their QB went 10/11 on the two drives and 90 yards. After those two scores by Akron, the rest of the game, UC only allowed 60yds. In that game the Cats scored 20 straight to secure the W. against Loserville UC played good, we ran the conservtive offense most of the game, but our QB wes the leading rusher, what cost us the W was 2 major fumbles by our starter Grutza. and our Kicker missing two FG's If not for that we would have the game winning FG in the end. The Bearcat D has been playing great, they will shut down Da Bulls and limit you guys to 3td's or less. Right now the current line is UC by 1 1/2. My prediction for the score is: Bearcats 21- USF 17. The main Kick Returner (Dom Goodman) is 9th in the nation in kickoff return yards. Should be a exciting game SundayGO CATS

Our Starter has improved since the early games. We almost came back and beat Pitt in the 4th. vs Ohio State our D played great hung with the bucks for 3 qtrs, had the lead after 1, but we just tired out. We should of won vs the Chokies. Had the lead at the half, we had a few major turnovers, plust the ACC Officals cost us some points. our D played great vs VT. vs Miami only allowed a punt return which was there only score, swicted to our current RB Core Moore and Benton who have been getting lots of yards. Akron started out 14-0, after their first two drives only allowed 60yds the rest of the way, plus we shut down their great QB, scored 20 straight to beat the Roos. for Louisville we played good, ran the conservtive offense, our QB had 2 major fumbles, plus our kicker missed two long fg's. Our D has been playing great, and they will shut down Da Bulls and limit you guys to 3td's or less. If we use our firepower UC will win. UC is favored by 1 1/2 right now. Score will be 21-17 UC. Our Kick Returner is 9th in the nation in yds, plus our punt returned almost returned a Punt vs Akron he is also a good WR.With 2 plays back, we're 7-0.....so stop with all the IFs and BUTs.....you are what you are, we are what we are. "shut down"? we'll see.oh, and btw, we have one of the best punt returners in the game hopefully making his return this week (mostly off week last week), returned 3 punts, 2 called back from needless penalties. or is it 4? eh. If we get 3 TDs we win. The most points we have allowed all year is 22 against a good Rutgers team. The biggest concern for us is our inconsistent road play from the offense.
