I should have specified ...... The Football Nation will be watching.  

It is a Sunday night!  I can't speak for everyone, but me and most of my friends only want to watch football on Sundays, not baseball, WS or not.  Now I might be speaking for the minority here, but I know there are plenty of people out there who will be looking for some football on Sunday night.

While I wasen't debating the fact that the WS will get a substantial number of viewers; I was reinerating the fact that we will get a large number of viewers.

Hey Herman last I checked, I was ahead of you in total points.  But then again our head to head this weekend will show you why i'm "A Team Youll Lose 2".   ;D

Correct me if i am wrong (and I probably am),but doesn't a share equal about a million people, roughly? I'd take a 3.0 share any day!

A 3.0 rating (which was just a guess on my part of course -- I think it will be in the high 2's or low 3's ... obviously some of it [for casual sports fans] depends on the quality of the game) would be just over 4 million people. As a point of comparison, Florida v. Auburn on Saturday got 5.17 million viewers (had competition from other football games). A relatively large number of people will be watching. As someone else said, certainly far more than usual. If it's a good game and the baseball is not we could see quite a surprising number.

Bottom line...1-3 Million more folks will see some of your game this Sunday Night...compared to if this game was played on TV anytime on Saturday...going up against 25 other plus games that are available on TV most weekends.

When you are the ONLY football game on TV (either during the week or Sunday night), that is MAXIMUM Exposure....(unless of course you are a Top 10 team playing on Primetime Saturday Night.)

Unfortunately it's about the same in Cincy and it will be cold.  I don't think our guys are used to 40 degree rain.
