Syracuse will be 3-5 since their next 2 games are @WVU and home with Louisville. They then have to go to Cincinnati the week after we play there, so they could be 3-6 before playing us and then still having to go to Rutgers. They aren't going to a bowl game. You are very good at evoking discussion. Does anyone really think we were going to go directly to the national championship game in our 2nd year of BCS play? Isn't playing in a couple of lesser bowls preparation and development for the Bigger Bowls down the road?Let's talk about development. We are coming together as a team on both sides of the ball. We are getting better each week (which I expected), With the exception of Nicholas, St. Louis and Watson, every position on the field is seeing production and a good amount of playing time from Freshman or Sophomore players. Any bowl this year is good for the continued development of this team. Next year the expectations realistically change for challenging for the BE. I don't believe CFN even thinks about these projections more than 10 seconds each. They look at the standings and go hmm....USF 4-2, Syracuse 3-3.....uh Cuse will probably travel more so we'll say SU.

Let's go 10-2 and go to the BCS bowls or at worste 9-3 and make the gator bowl. I think we'd travel pretty good to wither of those.
