i booed this older dude in the student section wearing a gator jersey

then i got in an argument with some jerk in front of me, he was wearing bull stuff, which is the least i could ask for, but he told me if he had his gator hat he would have weared it.  I asked him if he ever attended UF, and said no, So i asked him if he attends USF.  He said yes, and I told him you should support the Bulls over the gators since thats wear you go to school.  He said he could support anyone he wants over the bulls because he pays his tuission...

that didnt go down to well with me, and led to a "gators suck" chant with me and some of my buddies around me to taunt this guy...

and if he would have never spoken up, he would have never had this problem...

dont go to a USF game and talk about the gators, they suck...

the only reason its becoming a problem is because of the success UF is having this season...

The girl sitting behind me, who was wearing USF gear, constantly was putting down USF. The whole game she just stood there putting down USF EVEN at Grothe when he went down. She wasn't even socializing.... why on Earth come to the football game to put down your own school. If you like the gator/noles/'canes then go to their games... don't come to ours.

I thought the student section was decent last night. It just seems like midfield sections don't get in to it that much...only when there is a big defensive play we need to make do they stand up it seems like. The energy was sort of lacking last night :-/

I've seen 2 versions of the GOOD ... BAD ... UGLY t-shirt. I think the more accurate one is GOOD (Bulls) ... BAD (UM) ... UGLY (UCF).

getting a ticket to that LSU-Gator game would be siginificantly harder than walking up to the ticket window at RJS.

you can hate the Gators all you want-- but the fact of the matter is they have a very good team and they will more likely get better before they get worse. I aspire for our team to be as good as them someday and to sellout RJS like they do the Swamp.

Good: Run production, game plan, run defense, Grothe-all around, and kicking game, Amarri Jackson/SJ Green/Taurus Johnson, interception by Roberts

Bad: kickoff return coverage, questionable calls by the refs, UConn's sparse crowd

Ugly: fans booing PJ-- twice -- for simply coming into the game

Good= Stellar offense putting together 2 solid drives that ended in TDs in what, like the 1st 6 min of the game? Also, special teams much improved...way to go Benzer (FINALLY).  

While there has been some talk of the student section not being as strong I thought the alumni sections and the "general" seating sections rocked out...we had some really enthusiastic fans in those seats and it was really nice to see.  

Bad= Fans leaving early...no matter what, you should stay to support your team...I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I equivocate this to leaving church early. It's a sign of disrespect (unless of course you have cranky children who need to get to sleep, physical ailments, stuff like that)...also, UConn's pure vanilla offense

Ugly= Fans booing Julmiste, and those 3 spots I threw up in at halftime...still not sure where that bug came from but I don't think it's entirely went away

good - offense and defense (close to complete game from both sides) we will be hard to beat    

          with this level of play consistantly

bad - penalties and DB's playing deep and not-so-special teams

ugly -   booing PJ  (a class guy IMO, far as i know he does not make the decision who played qb

          last three years)

props to - t. roberts, benzer, williams, #51, and #8

i hope we improve some more next week
