Attendance ?

What irritates me is that when I go up to the Club section, there are as many people in there as there are in the stadium. Same is true behind the end zones.  Are people there for the game or just the social experience???

What really Pi$$es me off is all of the quote-unquote "Fans" who leave the game early...  I'm sorry, But all of you who whine about why their aint' no "BIG 4" in the state of Florida...    You just seen it first handed...   BULLS FANS AINT' NOTHING BUT CHUMPS.  And believe you me I hate to say it...   I try with all I have to believe in what we got, but Iwhen I see the student section pour out of Ray-J like somebody pulled a fire alarm....   It's just sad.

usf needs to cultivte interest

1.put all games on live tv

2.make an effort to connect with young families and pop warner set.

  a.open practices

   b.have local kids be ball boys

3.reach out to community

4.give tickets to pop warner crowd

5.create a more friendly atmosphere around program

6.with grothe usf has a chance to put an excitingproduct on field something they didnt have last5 years

7.spice it up a bit. hire jen or girls like her.SEX SELLS BUT YOU CANT OVER DO IT

All good suggestions, ESPECIALLY the youth football stuff. Get the KIDS interested. Enough begging, and the parents would HAVE to take em to a game or 2, jsut to get them to shut up!

If you look around Bulls games, there's a ton of families there. A ton. Which means mom and dad with the ice-cream-laden, cotton-candy-covered, I-gotta-pee children in tow. At the other end, there's the South Florida Undergraduate Cocktail Party. Stop serving beer at the stadium and I'm

betting that end gets thinned pretty quickly. We do not draw - for the most part - football fans (e.g. men...yep, men...lots of them and their men friends).  We draw alumni. Not as many as we should, but certainly we don't draw like you would expect for a pro game. And that does mean they're there for the social experience. Gotta remember...like I pointed out on another thread...a lot of times it's either "we all go, or we all stay home", given that mom ain't cutting no kitchen passes so she can sit with the kids on Saturday night.  So, no...there are a large volume of people who are NOT there for the game.

The vacant seats on the side. Sure, a lot of those are just plain empty due to the donor level required to purchase them, and a lot are indeed empty because of club access. It's hard to fault someone who paid for that benefit NOT TO USE IT.  Ranks right up there with not taking all your vacation days.
