I doubt we'll ever see a Tues, Wed game ever again, least at home. If they decide to throw the USF/UCF game (@UCF) we have no control because home team controls TV rights and ESPN has the C-USA contract which allows Tues/Wed games.

Friday, possibly. Regardless any of these games on by themselves HELP USF giving them unconditional coverage. The reason many of the bigger schools don''t play these games go to the fact that they don't have to. They're going to be on TV regardless.

I remember that classic game on Thursday back in the day, when FSU lost to Virginia (when the Barbers were here) ... Tiki ran the ball in with like no time left.

Great ending !

Hmmm...I seem to recall that being a rainy Thursday night, FSU has the ball, and #28

(Warrick Dunn) gets down to the close-but-no-cigar as the clock ran out (this would have

been back in '95).

The Cavaliers handed the Seminoles their first Atlantic Coast

Conference loss, 33-28, here on November 2, 1995 when Warrick

Dunn was stopped at the goal line as time expired.

Another great game was Jake Plummer & Pat Tillman with ASU beating Nebraska on

another Thursday game.

Louisville/FSU in 2002...in the rain Rix threw an INT in OT to seal the Louisville win.

UCF's schedule this year is interesting because they space out their 13 days of bye week to play on tuesday (last week after our Saturday game with them so 9 days off), wednesday this week, friday next week, then saturdays following that.  kinda cool, and the only games scheduled to be on national TV.

Yes, it's very cool to be playing three midweek games in a row. Dem's de breaks. ;D

The "national expousure" for playing during the week is overrated.  What do we gain? We've been playing weekday games for years and I don't see any difference.  Great, I saw Marshall and UCF playing last night, it was fun but that's it.  It doesn't make me care any more about their teams.

...

1A Independent ... C-USA ... Big East

I have seen improvement, but granted it is not totally from playing these games. But these games give us that little extra exposure that we need ... still.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
