Ya that team sucked now reward us, you see how that worked out when we beat UCF. Most teams do not  get rewarded for beating bad teams, that is what you are supposed to do. You get rewarded for reaching beyond and beating a good team, but go ahead and agree with the pundits that will say that we only beat a bad team as they drop them from the polls and give us no respect.

we beat rutgers last year when they had a better QB.  who is saying that deserves respect this year?  NOBODY.  we will get respect when we get ourselves ranked by beating those teams that we should beat!

how much respect did we lose because we lost to UConn!  we were over-rated going into that game, obviously.

USF needs to do more than not chant over-rated (WHICH CHANGES NOTHING) to get respect.  USF needs to win the big east title before anyone respect them.  seriously, who is going to take USF seriously on a national stage before we actually WIN the big east?

until we win consistently, beating teams we "should" beat and teams that people dont expect us to beat, then we dont get respect.  if we were 4-0 we'd have more respect than we have.  but we lost, so rutgers gets all the hype.  we'd have votes to be ranked, and would have been ranked had we beaten kansas and then rutgers.  that's how you get respect.

in the meantime, we're going to rub in the loss to a team that is over-rated.

We're not big time, but I don't think we're small time anymore either.  Maybe "medium" time???    Small time is reserved for the Sun Belts, the MACs, and the CDOA also rans.

Yeah. Thats why ESPN constantly calls us Southern Florida, and even had a poll where we were the Bull Dogs.

I know it's hard to look through the green and gold but we are still a small time team, for now.
