matt grothe will be great but there are so many shortcomings that need to be addressed

you cannot win consistently with this scheme and coaching staff

we had the great andre hall   and only won10 games in 2 years

way too many 3 and 0uts

having a great qb means little without a good offensive line

We need to use Julmiste as that power RB. Bringing in Julmiste on that 4th down would have been something to see. It would at least threw the defense off a little. I seen Julmiste block, so I know he can be useful. Hopefully, the coaching staff sees this too and are waiting for the right time to use him against the BIG EAST.

I don't care how we look at this game... penalties and the lack of Ricky Ponton cost us. Matt Grothe has more poise in the pocket than any QB that has EVER played at USF. Sit back and enjoy the ride... the next four years will place USF on the map if they can build around Matt.

Also... the receivers we have this year are way better than any year we've had line up on the field. Very minimal drops... and I'm sure everyone is going to say the last missed pass was crucial... but the receivers are light years ahead of what we've had here.

This will be a different ball team when Ricky is back.

Normally I lose two days of productivity after a loss... but sometimes you have to realize the big picture... we lost to KU today... but by the time Grothe is a senior, the game against UF will be more winnable than anyone ever imagined.

Flipflop... there is no need to console your son... he made big plays... he will be NFL bound in four years. Congrats.

I agree 100%. This loss hurts a LOT less knowing that this is probably as bad as it's gonna get for the USF offense in the next 4 years...and that, my friends, is a good thing.

Just because you love someone 2 yrs ago doesnt mean you gotta love them today,  sticking with a team is loyalty no need to stick with individuals...........Whoever is producing that week is who will be the man. I have all the loyalty in the world to USF but no loyalty to indiviudals.
