Didn't they throw in the black so the logo would stand out more from far away? That was my understanding of it all

Black is fine.  If you make it green, it will look cartoonish.

I actually heard we are going to a black helmet with Gold U ...

Drop the Meds Shoop ... I was joking.

Maybe the OCS will be painted black??

or the people at RayJay will use black tasers??

or it was a secret, subconscious realization that the Black & Gold Knights really are USF's biggest rival??

or maybe it really isn't that big of a deal.

Okay, so the real question is...who can even tell from the stands? I watch from the sidelines and it's hard to spot most times. There isnt much difference between dark green and black.

Maybe it's the black "u" that makes it difficult for a certain qb to throw to.

Maybe if the players were more color coordinated they would be in the right spot at the right time to make the plays.

Maybe if a frog... nevemind.

GO BULLS!

The helmet colors don't bother me, but the "All Time Division 1-A College Football Standings"  website (the best!) has picked up black and gold as our colors.  I've emailed them but got no response.  Someone else want to inform them also?

Those not familiar with this site, go down to Big East Conference and click on the little square next to South Florida Bulls to see all our game scores - in black and gold!
