I blame you. I dont know how much more clearer it can be displayed. Way to go, make the cover of your very own media guide(!) show off how color blind you are. Atta boy. WHAT A COVER!!!!  **** those media guides look so darn good!  I can't stop raving about them. By the way, it's a collective effort deciding on helmets it was not his decision alone.  I personally think the cover is fantastic.

I mean hell, if the "collective ones" were in charge at FSU, they'd be wearing these:

It's not like they threw in orange, and it's not obtrusive or obnoxious. I actually like it. Just because you don't, which is your opinion, doesn't mean they're wrong. But I am sure if people make a big deal about it, or it was a huge problem they could always change back. By the way, I saw one helmet last year that had a white horn, good thing they didn't go with that- they had about a half-dozen to decide on with different colors and sizes. Did he have an eye injury that wasn't posted on here that caused him to lose his vision? We should chip in and buy him a walking cain (-2 for misspelling). Someone in the athletic department send him my regards.

Especially if you're gonna use the old helmets which are the wrong shade of gold. Add the 2 together, and you get a complete abomination(sp?). Find me somewhere other than the football helmets where the logo is presented black with a black outline. EVERYWHERE you look, whether it be signage on campus or around town, internet, other athletic uniforms, the logo is either gold with green outline, green with gold outline, or some combination of white, green, and gold. I'm totally fine with black "being mixed in". But if you do that, you do it the right way: a black facemask, black outlining the numbers(which they have done, and they look great), or black in the socks/shoes. It just looks "tacky" for lack of a better term. Half-ass, if you will.

Now I do not agree with the way he chooses to deliver his displeasure with the black "U" on the helmet, but it is important to remember he pays more attention to it than anyone else here. If Shoop hurts, we all hurt. Try to help the guy heal. It'll be alright.Shoop...tact, baby, tact.
