I hear this a lot in Tampa.. I suppose because Tampa doesn't have a basketball team (The Magic should move to Tampa). I like baseball, but IMO basketball is more entertaining than baseball. I don't know I just love sports in general.

Yea I should have read the whole thing. I saw Dolphins = Super bowl and then saw 1972.. My fault.

I think we are super bowl contenders this year though...

Yes I have a Canes poster in my room big deal. I have 4 USF posters. I grew up a huge Canes fan and still consider myself a causal fan. Do I watch the games? Yes, If there is no USF game. The Canes are part of my roots my cousin played there, my freind from high school is still playing there and yes I cheer for them still. However USF is my school, when we played Miami last year I was there in my USF gear. There are some things that you can get me on, but my love for USF is not one of them. I would venture to say everybody on this board cares a great deal for USF athletics otherwise they wouldn't be here. Even the UCFers care more about our sports teams then half the students here whichj is sad.

Marlins suck... and if they could get more than 4K in the door, more people would know that.  What's their payroll now, $69.95?

Panthers suck.  Any team that tries to charge its SEASON TICKET HOLDERS for walking to the game from Sawgrass Mills mall sucks.

Dolphins?   Contenders?  You do realize that Joey Harrington will be your QB this year, right?  How'd he do in Detroit last year?  

Please.  The ONLY thing going on in Miami right now is the Heat, and when Shaq's knees give out and he has to retire, you'll be back to 8K a night in that overpriced fleahole of an arena.

The Marlins are bad this year I agree. However they have 2 World Titles. How many does Tampa have? Oh wait I forgot Tampa is the home of the Yankees. LOL.

The Dolphins again more Championships than the Bucs. And we are contenders this year. Daunte will be playing.

The Panthers do suck, the Lightning have the advantage there, however we did make it to the finals before Tampa Bay. But hey you guys won. BTW Hockey Sucks balls.

The Heat. Do I have to say anymore. Atleast the NBA finds Miami worthy of a team.
